The 36th International Saxophone Symposium is Jan. 4th and 5th!!!

     Once again Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center will be represented at the 36th International Saxophone Symposium 4th and 5th January 2013, held at George Mason University Center for the Arts in Fairfax, Va.

     Sponsored by the United States Navy Band, the International Saxophone Symposium is the premier saxophone conference in North America drawing top performers and students from around the world. If you like saxophone, don’t miss out on the free performances and master classes by the most renown saxophonist from around the world.

     Even through the icy weather, last years ISS was well attended, and this year should be no exception. This year, Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center will feature the Schagerl brand, a fine Austrian product showcased by Christian Salzer, the Schagerl saxophone product specialist. Along with Christian, Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center will be represented by Otrie Barrett Jr, woodwind specialist of band sales department.

     Otrie says, “the ISS is a great place to learn about the saxophone, whether you are just starting your musical journey or have been at it for a life time.”

     We are very enthusiastic about featuring the debut of the new Schagerl matte lacquered European Customized Amadeus 66, as well as the vintage finish Academica Superior T-1VB tenor saxophones, both sure to be a BIG hit. The European Customized tenor saxophones are assembled and upgraded by a famous European master craftsman in Mank, Austria.
