Web Product Specialist - Guitars
Chuck Levin's has an entry-level position open on our Web Team perfect for any passionate guitar player! As a part of our Web Team, you will be responsible for editing, classifying, and auditing product information for products within the Guitar Department to be listed online. This is a perfect role for an experienced guitar player who wants to combine their love of instruments with a sense of organization and fine-detailed computer skills. Come join the Chuck's family!
Ideal candidates will possess:

- Extensive knowledge of guitars and common guitar specification language
- Willingness to work within structure
- Comfortability with a fast-paced work environment and multi-tasking
- Flexibility when tasks change to meet updated needs
Employment Details:
- Full-time (40 hrs. per week)
- Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- In-person work at the Chuck Levin's Wheaton store

Duties Include:
- Compiling data from multiple sources (price files, specification lists, inventory reports, manufacturer's websites, etc.) to create comprehensive and accurate product listings
- Maintain product build status in log and meet performance standards
- Act as liaison between guitar buyers, photographer, and Web Team
- Maintain meta data specifications in database
- Maintain HTML code using style guide format (training provided)
- Identifying and communicating guitar and bass specifications
- Other duties may be assigned and there will be opportunities to work on special projects
Requirements:
- Cover letters are required for application to determine writing proficiency
- High School Diploma or GED – some college preferred
- Basic HTML knowledge preferred
- Data entry, copy writing, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic Microsoft Office and MS365 knowledge (E.g. Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
- Proficiency in playing and discussing guitars (E.g. acoustic, electric, bass, steel string, nylon, hard tail, vibrato bridge, etc.)
- Strong computer skills – ability to learn programs and workflows easily (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Dynamics, relational database platforms, and ecommerce platforms)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently when work is assigned and to meet deadlines
- Willingness to work within a structured team process
