After suffering an accident in 1990 that seriously injured his back, he designed a new case for himself. This case was lighter, more compact, and featured a brand new design to facilitate the transportation of his instrument, as the cases available on the market were too big and heavy. To his surprise, the case was so successful among his orchestra colleagues that, in a short time, these same colleagues had new cases made in fiberglass by Marcus Bonna himself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1991, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra had a performance in São Paulo. When the horn players from this orchestra saw the new horn case model, they were very impressed and interested in acquiring one. As a result, to start fulfilling orders both in Brazil and abroad, the MB company was founded in 1991.
