Every summer, Chuck Levin's recruits young players interested in learning more about instrument repair ! These positions are typically perfect for high school or college students, so we would encourage anyone with an interest in music to apply. We are currently hiring additional hands in our:

• String Shop (orchestral strings)
• Band Shop (woodwind and brass)
• Drum Shop (snares and mallet percussion)

Assistants in these repairs shops would to help with the cataloging, maintenance, and cleaning of rental instruments under the guidance of seasoned repair professionals. No repair experience is necessary and all training will be provided onsite, but applicants who play instruments will be given priority. This is a perfect seasonal position for students who want to spend their summer surrounded by music and musicians!

Requirements:

• Applicants must be available between mid June - mid August.
• Availability for a full-time schedule during the summer (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week). Vacation time of up to one week is expected.
• Physical capability of lifting 30 lbs. regularly and comfortably.
• Teamwork attitude.
• An interest in music and musical instruments is preferred.

While this is a seasonal position, there is occasionally the possibility of moving to part-time during the school year to accommodate our overflow and your schedule.
