Heavy riffs need definition, especially as the tuning drops and the gain goes up. The redesigned Epiphone Prophecy Series puts that need at the center of five guitars, pairing custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups with extended scale lengths, stainless steel frets and necks designed for fast playing.
The lineup includes the Prophecy Victory FR, Les Paul Baritone, Les Paul, SG and Flying V. Each brings a different feel and silhouette to the same modern approach, with options for players who want a locking tremolo, the lower range of a baritone, or a familiar body shape with updated specifications.
Three pickup voices in every model
Every model uses custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups developed specifically for the Prophecy Series. Push/pull volume and tone controls give you access to three tonal options:
- Modern, high-output active humbucker tones
- Vintage PAF-inspired humbucker character
- Clear, single-coil-style articulation

That range gives you room to move from a heavy rhythm part to a clean passage or a different lead texture on the same instrument. For players recording layered guitar parts or covering a varied set, having those choices within reach is a useful part of the Prophecy design.
Built for fast playing
Across the lineup, thermally aged one-piece maple necks use graphite rod reinforcement for added stability. Satin neck finishes and streamlined profiles support a smooth playing feel, while bound ebony fretboards combine a 10-to-14-inch compound radius with 24 stainless steel frets.

The Victory FR, Les Paul, SG and Flying V feature Epiphone's Hyperglide neck profile and a 25.5-inch scale length. The Les Paul Baritone has its own Hyperglide B profile and a longer 27-inch scale for players exploring lower tunings.
Five models with different strengths
Prophecy Victory FR

The Victory FR is the tremolo model in the lineup. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo, R3 locking nut and locking Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners support players who make dive-bombs and pitch changes part of their sound. Its mahogany Victory body wears a flamed maple veneer, complemented by black mother-of-pearl dot inlays and a bound Explorer-style headstock.
Prophecy Les Paul Baritone

The Les Paul Baritone pairs its 27-inch scale with .012-.060 strings for baritone tunings such as B to B. It extends your reach into lower registers while preserving familiar chord shapes. The mahogany body features Ultra Modern weight relief, a maple top with flamed maple veneer, a Modern Contoured Heel for upper-fret access and a rear belly carve for comfort.
Prophecy Les Paul

The Prophecy Les Paul puts a 25.5-inch scale into the familiar single-cutaway shape, with a design aimed at clear, defined playing in modern and dropped tunings. Like the Baritone, it combines an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body with a maple cap, flamed maple veneer, contoured heel and rear belly carve. Both Les Paul models offer individual volume and tone controls for their pickups.
Prophecy SG

The Prophecy SG builds on a mahogany SG Modern body with a maple cap and flamed maple veneer. Its 25.5-inch scale, Hyperglide neck and 24-fret ebony board bring the series' modern playing specifications to the familiar double-cutaway shape. Push/pull master volume and tone controls keep the Fishman voices close at hand.
Prophecy Flying V

The Prophecy Flying V pairs its unmistakable outline with a mahogany body, flamed maple veneer and multi-ply binding. A 25.5-inch scale and Hyperglide neck carry over the lineup's focus on modern playing, while black mother-of-pearl block inlays and a bound Flying V headstock complete the look.
The Les Paul models, SG and Flying V all feature locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, a LockTone Modern bridge and a Frequensator-inspired through-body tailpiece. Every Prophecy model comes with a Protector Ultralite case.
