New: The item is brand new as received from the manufacturer with a full manufacturer warranty. Instruments such as guitars, snare drums, drum kits, brass and woodwind instruments may be opened for photography and quality control inspection and may not be in a factory sealed box.
Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.
Used: The item is used. These item may have varying degrees of wear. Please read the description for information about the condition of the item. Used items do not carry a warranty.

The introduction of the AKG Stereo Set provides users with a complete solution that delivers outstanding performance and excellent quality from a pair of AKG C 214's, which comes complete with a comprehensive range of accessories.

Realistic stereo recordings require microphones with outstanding performance and excellent quality. It also requires performance consistency and accurate localization from the pair of microphones. Therefore, every factory-matched pair of AKG C 214's is created from thousands of individual microphones selected by AKG's sophisticated computer-aided matching method, resulting in the highest possible correlation over the whole frequency range and virtually identical sensitivity for stunning, three-dimensional recordings.
The AKG C 214 Microphone uses the cardioid-only version of the legendary C 414 large diaphragm microphone which has been awarded several times and used on thousands of hit records. Since its introduction in 1971, it has been on stage with artists of every musical genre and is also used by leading broadcast facilities the world over.
The new AKG C 214 Mic captures sound by combining one side of the legendary C 414 dual-capsule system, resulting in a cardioid-only design with outstanding performance close to the famous C 414. The Ultra-Low Noise electronics are capable of handling up to 156 dB SPL but also enable for voice and orchestral instruments thanks to a low noise floor. Additionally, the AKG C 214 Microphone will also work on low phantom power voltages from 12 up to 48 volts.
Additional features include an integrated suspension, a 20 dB attenuation pad, and a low cut filter. The AKG C 214 stereo set comes complete with two spider-type shock mounts, two stand adapters, two windsocks, a stereo pair certificate, and a rugged metal carrying case.
