Classic Analog Inspiration
The JT MINI takes inspiration from the classic Jupiter synthesizer sound and places it in a compact, portable instrument. Its pure analog signal path is based on authentic VCO, VCF, and VCA designs, providing the warm, expressive character associated with vintage analog synthesis.
Flexible Oscillator Sound Shaping
The oscillator section provides selectable saw, triangle, square, and pulse waveforms, giving users a broad tonal foundation for basses, leads, pads, and other analog sounds. Pulse width modulation provides additional movement and harmonic variation for more expressive sound design.
Multi-Mode Analog Filter
The VCF section includes cutoff and resonance controls along with selectable 2-pole and 4-pole operation. LFO and envelope modulation can be mixed into the filter for evolving sweeps and animated tonal changes, while dedicated ADSR controls provide precise envelope shaping.
Performance Modes and Arpeggiator
The JT MINI supports Polyphonic and Unison modes along with multiple arpeggiator patterns. Arpeggio options include Up, Down, Up/Down, and Random, providing quick access to rhythmic and melodic patterns during performance.
16-Step Motion Sequencer
The built-in 16-step motion sequencer includes 8 memory slots and can record knob movements, allowing parameter changes to become part of the sequence. This makes it possible to create evolving patterns and animated analog textures directly from the instrument.
Portable USB-C Power and MIDI
USB Type-C allows the JT MINI to be powered from a compatible smartphone, power bank, or computer. Sync input and output connections support integration with other synthesizers or drum machines, while comprehensive MIDI implementation provides NRPN/CC control of parameters and bulk load/save functionality.
