The Bose Professional DesignMax DM8C is a 150-watt in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for commercial sound installations that need powerful SPL, rich low end, and clear high-frequency performance. Featuring an 8-inch woofer and a center-firing coaxial 1-inch compression driver, the DM8C delivers a 52 Hz - 20 kHz frequency range with premium aesthetics for restaurants, retail stores, houses of worship, conference centers, hospitality venues, and performing arts spaces.

Powerful Sound for Demanding Commercial Spaces
The DesignMax DM8C is built for applications that require higher SPL from an in-ceiling loudspeaker. Its 150-watt power handling, 8-inch woofer, and compression driver make it suitable for foreground music, high-ceiling spaces, ballrooms, concourses, convention centers, and other demanding installed audio environments.
Coaxial 2-Way Performance
The DM8C uses a coaxial 2-way design with an 8-inch low-frequency woofer and a center-firing 1-inch compression driver. This configuration helps deliver full low-frequency response, clear highs, and balanced coverage without requiring external DSP or EQ.
Fast Installation with QuickHold Mounting
The patented QuickHold mounting system uses three spring-loaded mounting arms to simplify installation and reduce strain during setup. Included installation accessories such as the tile bridge, cutout template, and front-access wiring help make the DM8C easier to install and service.
Clean Design for Professional Interiors
The magnetically attached perforated steel grille features a minimum-bezel design, removable logo, and paintable finish to blend into a wide range of commercial interiors. The in-ceiling DesignMax models are sold in white, with optional black grilles available separately.
Flexible System Integration
DesignMax loudspeakers can be mixed and matched across the series to complete systems of different sizes. For enhanced performance, select Bose Professional DSPs and amplifiers can enable Bose Professional loudspeaker EQ and SmartBass processing.
