The Crown I-Tech 12000HD is a two-channel professional power amplifier designed for demanding touring and installed sound applications. Delivering up to 4500 watts per channel at 4 ohms, it combines patented Class-I amplification with BSS OMNIDRIVEHD DSP, high-resolution 24-bit/192 kHz conversion, advanced LevelMAX limiting, Ethernet connectivity, and a universal power supply for powerful, precise, and highly configurable system performance.

BSS OMNIDRIVEHD Processing
At the heart of the I-Tech 12000HD is the BSS OMNIDRIVEHD processing engine. Designed for high-performance professional systems, it supports IIR filters and linear-phase FIR filters while providing high-resolution signal processing through 24-bit/192 kHz Cirrus Logic SHARC A/D and D/A converters.
LevelMAX Limiting
LevelMAX peak-voltage and RMS-power limiters work together to provide smooth, accurate loudspeaker protection while preserving sound quality. This coordinated limiting architecture helps maintain consistent response during demanding high-output operation.
High-Efficiency Class-I Amplification
Crown's sixth-generation patented Class-I BCA circuitry efficiently couples amplifier power to the load while helping reduce AC current draw. Full power-supply voltage is continuously available, allowing the amplifier to respond quickly to transient peaks and demanding program material.
Flexible System Connectivity
The I-Tech 12000HD supports analog, AES/EBU, CobraNet, HiQnet, and Ethernet connectivity, allowing inputs to be routed to available outputs as required. A front-panel USB connector enables presets to be transferred between the amplifier's DSP and a USB drive for faster system setup and configuration.
Advanced Monitoring and Protection
SLM Sweep Load Monitoring provides system-level diagnostics, while true tachometer feedback monitors fan performance for improved thermal protection and control. High common-mode rejection also helps minimize hum and radio-frequency interference on input cabling.
