The Evno SX-W2 is a complete wireless microphone system designed for alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. The package combines the Evno SX bell-mounted microphone, SX-CL clamp, W2 dual wireless receiver, A1 transmitter, power supply, antennas, and rackmount hardware. Designed for reliable performance in both low- and high-volume environments, the system provides natural saxophone reproduction while helping reduce unwanted low-frequency buildup and high-frequency feedback from surrounding instruments.

SX Saxophone Microphone

The Evno SX microphone is designed to capture the natural frequency range of the saxophone while maintaining a compact, performance-friendly design. Its vented microphone body and precision-machined construction allow the instrument's tone to reach the microphone effectively, while the lightweight gooseneck holds its position once adjusted.

The microphone is suspended using a seven-point variable suspension system with replaceable O-rings. A 3-pin mini-XLR connection allows the SX to be used with compatible Evno wireless transmitters or supported wired configurations.

SX-CL Bell Clamp

The included SX-CL clamp uses a spring-loaded design to attach securely to the flanged bell of compatible instruments. Its positioning system places the microphone at a consistent height and angle while helping prevent unwanted twisting or rotation.

For performers who move extensively on stage, an integrated reinforcement screw can be tightened for additional stability. When the screw is not engaged, the spring-loaded design allows the microphone to be moved quickly from one compatible instrument to another.

W2 Dual Wireless Receiver

The Evno W2 is a dual wireless receiver designed to operate two compatible Evno microphones and transmitters at the same time. This allows musicians to build combinations around different instruments, such as saxophone, flute, or clarinet, depending on performance requirements.

Two independent XLR outputs provide separate control of the connected wireless channels for individual EQ and volume adjustment. The receiver also includes a 1/4-inch output option and uses a dual-antenna diversity system with an operating distance of approximately 100 meters.

Rackmount-Ready Design

The W2 features a durable metal chassis and half-rack form factor. The included rackmount kit and antenna extension cables allow the receiver to be installed in a standard equipment rack, with the antennas positioned at the front for convenient access and removal. BNC locking connections allow the antennas to be attached at the front or rear depending on the installation.

Fast Wireless Setup

The system provides 99 selectable channels and uses IR synchronization to transfer wireless settings from the receiver to the transmitter. This allows frequencies to be changed quickly during setup or between performances.

Depending on region and frequency availability, multiple W2 systems can be used simultaneously for larger horn sections and ensemble applications. The W2 can also operate alongside Evno Air and W1 systems and supports compatible Evno transmitter options including A2, AH, and A4.

Flexible Wired and Wireless Compatibility

The SX microphone can be integrated with compatible Evno, Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and McCormick wireless systems when the appropriate cables are used. The optional PS95 can also be added for hard-wired operation.
