Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The Custom Shop is home to Fender's most skilled and talented builders. It's a bustling, noisy and creatively volcanic place that re-earns its nickname - the Dream Factory - every day. Custom Shop builders are completely dedicated to their art - part craftsman, part artist, part music fan and, more often than not, part mad scientist. They're the best at what they do, and pour all of their passion, hard-earned knowledge and skill into every instrument they build. It’s no ordinary place, and the creations that come from it are no ordinary instruments.
The Fender Custom Shop 1952 Heavy Relic Telecaster is an authentic evocation of Fender’s first workhorse guitar, along with some upgraded features for modern playability. In addition to the two piece ash body, its time-honored Telecaster snap comes from dual Nocaster pickups with three-way switching and Fender’s Greasebucket™ tone circuit, which rolls off highs without reducing gain. Other premium features include a maple neck with a Nocaster “U” profile, 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets, single-ply parchment pickguard, ’52 Telecaster bridge with brass saddles, and Vintage tuning machines.
