Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

This 1957 Les Paul™ Standard Reissue features a Hemisphere Shift finish and serves as a bold reinterpretation of a timeless classic—an instrument that honors the Golden Era of Gibson craftsmanship while embracing the artistry and innovation of today’s Custom Shop luthiers. Part of the Limited Edition Collection, this limited-run model draws inspiration from years of Made to Measure orders and the boundless creativity of our Nashville Custom Shop artisans.
At its core, this guitar is pure vintage Les Paul. The solid mahogany body and carved maple top deliver the warmth, resonance, and bite that define the model’s legendary voice. A single-ply top binding adds a subtle touch of elegance, while the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Hemisphere Shift transforms the guitar into a visual spectacle. This color-shifting lacquer reacts to light and angle, revealing a dynamic palette that moves between rich hues, making every glance a new experience.
The neck is shaped to the coveted Authentic 1959 profile, offering a comfortable, broken-in feel that invites expressive playing. It’s crafted from mahogany and joined to the body with a long tenon and hide glue for maximum resonance and sustain. The rosewood fretboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and aged cellulose trapezoid inlays, with a 12-inch radius for smooth playability across the board.
This 1957 Les Paul™ Standard Reissue is equipped with a pair of unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 humbucker™ pickups that deliver the unmistakable tone of late-50s Patent Applied For pickups—clear, articulate, and harmonically rich. Wired with CTS® potentiometers and a Switchcraft® three-way pickup selector toggle switch, the controls offer a wide tonal range, from warm neck tones to biting bridge leads.
Every detail of the hardware is chosen to enhance both performance and vintage authenticity. The ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece are finished in nickel, paired with Kluson® Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons for classic looks and reliable tuning. Beach white Top Hat knobs, cream plastic parts, brown control covers, and aged nickel pickup covers complete the aesthetic, while a black multi-ply pickguard adds a bold contrast. Each guitar ships in a reissue hardshell case, so it’s ready for the road, whether it leads to the stage or studio.
