New: The item is brand new as received from the manufacturer with a full manufacturer warranty. Instruments such as guitars, snare drums, drum kits, brass and woodwind instruments may be opened for photography and quality control inspection and may not be in a factory sealed box.
Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The Les Paul Special returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved–shaping sound across generations and genres of music. Originally introduced in 1955 as a step up from the Les Paul™ Junior, it quickly found favor among players who wanted the straightforward approach of a Junior with added versatility. Decades on, the Les Paul Special remains true to those vintage roots, with a slab mahogany body and single-cutaway design that deliver its unmistakable look and roaring midrange punch.
The solid mahogany neck has a comfortable 50s Vintage profile and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard, offering smooth playability for everything from tasty blues runs to thunderous rock riffs. The 22 medium-jumbo frets and 12” fretboard radius strike the perfect balance between easy chording and hassle-free string bending, with dot inlays that pay homage to the original design. For those craving the distinctive high output of P-90 pickups, the Les Paul Special features a pair of these single-coil wonders—one in the bridge for biting, lead-friendly tones, and one in the neck for a warmer, rounder palette perfect for playing rhythm. Together, they deliver a broad tonal range that’s perfect for classic rock, blues, punk, or any style that benefits from a bit of rawness and plenty of punchy midrange clarity.
