Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The Hosa Pro-Conex Little Cat DFX-345F is a four-channel breakout snake that uses standard shielded network cable to carry balanced analog audio or AES3 signals. Designed with a female XLR fan-out for connecting microphones, instruments, direct boxes, and other audio sources, the Little Cat provides the performance of a traditional multi-channel snake in a lighter, more streamlined format.

- Female 3-pin XLR fan-out accepts signals from microphones, instruments, direct boxes, and other sources

Pure Analog Audio Over Network Cable
The Little Cat operates entirely in the analog domain. It uses the copper conductors inside shielded network cable to transmit balanced audio or AES3 signals without digital conversion, external power, or processing latency. This makes it a simple way to extend microphone and line-level connections across longer distances.
Integrated Female XLR Breakout
The DFX-345F features four hard-wired female XLR connectors designed to accept incoming signals directly from microphones, direct boxes, instruments, and other compatible sources. The integrated fan-out eliminates the need for separate patch cables between the breakout and connected equipment, helping reduce setup time and unnecessary connection points.
Flexible Installation and Stage Applications
By using lightweight shielded Cat cable for long runs, the Little Cat can help reduce cable bulk in live sound, studio, corporate AV, broadcast, and installed audio systems. It can also take advantage of compatible existing shielded network infrastructure for routing analog audio between rooms without installing dedicated multi-channel audio snakes.
Rugged Professional Construction
A galvanized steel housing helps protect the internal connections, while the locking RJ45 chassis connector helps prevent accidental disconnection during use. The compact breakout design is well suited for stage sub-snakes, conference systems, studio interconnects, and mobile recording applications.
