New: The item is brand new as received from the manufacturer with a full manufacturer warranty. Instruments such as guitars, snare drums, drum kits, brass and woodwind instruments may be opened for photography and quality control inspection and may not be in a factory sealed box.
Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The JodyJazz HR* Clarinet Mouthpiece is a warm-sounding, free-blowing clarinet mouthpiece that allows the player to play through the registers with ease while maintaining excellent intonation and a great sound. The mouthpieces are made in JodyJazz's Savannah, Georgia factory from German rod rubber, on state-of-the-art CNC machines, and then meticulously hand-finished. Every mouthpiece is measured, inspected, and play tested by Jody Espina or one of JodyJazz’s professional players on staff.

The HR* Clarinet mouthpiece joins the legendary HR* Series of saxophone mouthpieces that have become one of the most beloved jazz mouthpieces in the world.
For Concert Band, Classical Repertoire, Marching Band, Orchestra
In the tip openings, 1–5, the HR* Clarinet is not a jazz mouthpiece because it blends beautifully with a warm sound that has slightly more projection than the average classical clarinet mouthpiece. This slight extra power gives the player confidence and comfort, knowing that they will not have to struggle to keep up with forte passages, yet the mouthpiece plays with effortless control at pianissimo volumes.
For Jazz, Big Band, Banda, Klezmer, Greek, Turkish, Latin, Folk Music
In the tip openings 6–10, the HR* Clarinet is a “jazz” mouthpiece because JodyJazz made the large tip openings with a higher baffle than the lower tip openings, to give the mouthpiece more projection and some added brightness. If you play any style of music where you would like to have or must have more volume, you will love the JodyJazz HR* Clarinet Mouthpiece.
New HR* Clarinet “Once” (11) Model
The new HR* Clarinet “Once” model has been developed in response to requests from the Banda music community for an HR* Clarinet mouthpiece with an even larger tip opening than the 10 model which was previously the largest tip opening available. The new HR* Clarinet “Once” model has the largest tip opening of any commercially available clarinet mouthpiece on the market. “Once” is the Spanish word for 11. Because so many clarinetists in the Banda community have already made the HR* Clarinet series their preferred mouthpiece, it seemed only natural to name this new 11 tip opening the “Once” in their honor. Even with this very large tip opening, the HR* Clarinet “Once” is still very easy to play. The new “Once” model will give you the biggest sound of your life and make playing the clarinet more comfortable since you will have as much volume as you need.
