Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The K&K UltraPure System is an active pickup and preamp solution that brings the award-winning Pure Mini pickup together with an onboard soundhole preamp for exceptional acoustic tone and simple control. Designed for steel-string acoustic guitars, it delivers a rich, natural sound with versatile EQ, phase control, and easy battery access for reliable performance on stage and in the studio.

UltraPure System Overview
The UltraPure System starts with K&K’s acclaimed Pure Mini pickup, a passive bridge-plate transducer known for its warm, natural, and dynamic sound. This pickup is paired with a dedicated onboard preamp mounted at the soundhole, giving you convenient access to your core tone controls while keeping your guitar’s appearance clean and uncluttered.
This active configuration provides a strong, clear output that interfaces easily with amps, PAs, and recording setups, making it a great choice for gigging players and studio work alike.
Onboard UltraPure Preamp Features
The newly designed UltraPure Preamp offers flexible and musical tone shaping. It provides +/-20 dB control over bass/low, K&K’s proprietary wide-band midrange, and treble/high frequencies, allowing you to fine-tune your sound for different rooms, styles, and instruments. An internal gain trimmer lets you set the overall output level to match your rig.
A built-in phase switch is one of the most important tools for live amplification, helping you tame feedback and improve clarity on stage. The preamp also includes a convenient volume control and a low battery indicator so you always know when it’s time to swap the 9V battery.
Installation Details
The system includes an endpin jack for a clean, professional output connection and a Velcro-mounted 9V battery holder for secure placement and easy replacement. All controls are designed for soundhole access, so you can quickly adjust your sound without reaching for your amp or mixer.
