Equipped with the Responsive Hammer Compact II keyboard action, the CX202 features grade-weighted keys, a 3-sensor system, key cushioning, and hammer-sensing technology inherited from the high-specification CN series models. This delivers a realistic playing feel, improved accuracy, and expressive performance with quiet operation, supporting confident progress at home. Paired with the expressive sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano and reproduced using Harmonic Imaging sound technology, the CX202 captures the nuances of dynamic playing, from delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo.
In addition to its authentic piano sounds, the CX202 offers electric pianos, organs, strings, and more, with Dual and Split modes for creative layering. A powerful stereo speaker system delivers warmth and clarity, while connectivity features like Bluetooth MIDI, Bluetooth Audio, and USB-MIDI allow integration with apps such as Skoove, Tomplay, and Kawai’s PiaBookPlayer. Dual headphone jacks, built-in lesson songs, a metronome, and a recorder further support learning and daily practice. Housed in a refined cabinet available in Premium Rosewood, Satin Black, and Satin White finishes, the CX202 blends dependable performance with thoughtful features for players ready to take the next step in their musical journey.
