Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

Get Legendary Compression With the Klark Teknik 1176-KT – An Homage to the Classic 1176LN
Since its formation in the 1970s, MIDAS has built a long-standing reputation for innovation and leadership in the world of professional audio mixing consoles. Employed by top touring acts and installations worldwide, legendary MIDAS designs have shaped generations of engineers. The Klark Teknik 1176-KT draws from this same legacy—faithfully recreating the unmistakable sound and character of the iconic 1176LN compressor, while adding modern reliability and build quality.
Sublimely Easy to Operate
The compression ratio is selected by pressing any, or all, of the Ratio buttons located to the left of the VU meter. Ratios include 4:1 for moderate compression, 8:1 for heavier compression, 12:1 for mild limiting, and 20:1 for hard limiting—plus the legendary “all buttons in” mode for aggressive parallel effects.
Attack & Release
The 1176-KT’s Attack knob adjusts how quickly the compressor responds to audio exceeding the threshold. Turning the knob clockwise shortens the attack time, while turning it counterclockwise slows it down. The Release knob controls how fast the compressor recovers after the signal drops below threshold, allowing you to shape the envelope of your sound with precision.
Vintage-Style VU Meter
True to the design of the original, the 1176-KT features an illuminated, vintage-style VU meter for visual confirmation of gain reduction and output levels. Meter calibration can be set to +4, +6, or +8 dBu, providing flexibility for a variety of studio and live workflows.
Built for the Road
Housed in a rugged 2U steel rackmount chassis, the 1176-KT is built to withstand the demands of live touring and studio environments alike. Premium Neutrik XLR connectors ensure secure, noise-free signal transfer night after night.
