Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The Quad Stereo Gate (QXG) is a four-channel stereo low pass gate and mixer designed for ultimate control and musicality. Building on the legacy of the DXG, the QXG employs a fully analog, vactrol-free circuit, fine-tuned over months to deliver the smooth, organic response Make Noise low pass gates are known for—without the inconsistencies of vactrol components.
- Four-channel low pass gate and mixer for flexible stereo signal routing
- Vactrol-free design for classic, natural low pass gate response
- Selectable Vactrol button toggles between Fast and Slow modes
- Slow mode emulates vactrol decay behavior; Fast mode delivers precision for complex modulation
- Voltage-controllable Stereo Spread parameter for wide, spatial mixing
- Stereo Sum Output and Stereo AUX IN for chaining multiple units into larger systems
- Individual channel outputs remove that channel from the summed mix when patched
- Pre-patched headers for easy integration with Make Noise PoliMATHS
- Part of the new Universal Synthesizer System
- Chain two QXG units to a PoliMATHS for up to eight channels of amplitude control

With a stereo sum output and voltage-controllable Stereo Spread, the QXG transforms your modular setup into a spatial sound design playground. Use the AUX input to chain multiple modules or expand your mix by connecting additional units for deeper stereo field exploration.
Integrated System Compatibility
Designed to integrate seamlessly with Make Noise’s Universal Synthesizer System, the QXG connects effortlessly with MultiMod and PoliMATHS modules for expanded control. Dual QXGs can provide up to eight channels of amplitude shaping, perfect for complex modular rigs and performance setups.
