The Native Instruments Traktor MX2 is a 2-channel DJ controller built for creative mixing, remixing, and performance with Traktor Pro 4. Hands-On Two-Channel Mixing
The Traktor MX2 provides the essential controls DJs expect from a club-style setup, including two channel faders, volume meters, a crossfader, 3-band EQ, pitch controls, cueing, and dedicated track browsing functions. Its visual and tactile layout is designed to make it easy to move from basic transitions into more advanced performance techniques.
Stems at Your Fingertips
Traktor Pro 4 Stem separation allows tracks to be divided into drums, bass, instruments, and vocals. Dedicated MX2 controls provide precise adjustment of individual Stem volume, filter, and effect sends, while the performance pads make it possible to manipulate track elements directly during a set.
Mixer FX and Deck FX
Dedicated Mixer FX controls provide immediate one-dial access to nine effects for fast transitions, buildups, and drops. Two full Deck FX units expand the creative possibilities with more than 40 studio-grade Native Instruments effects, allowing effects to be shaped individually or layered into more complex chains.
16 RGB Performance Pads
Sixteen color-customizable performance pads provide hands-on access to Hotcues, Stems, Flux Loops, and Pattern Player functions. Hotcues provide instant access to important sections of a track, while loop controls help extend sections and build energy without interrupting playback.
Pattern Player
Pattern Player transforms the performance pads into a rhythmic performance tool for adding synchronized percussion patterns to a mix. DJs can layer grooves, fills, and additional textures over existing tracks using a selection of drum and percussion kits.
Responsive Jog Wheels
Two touch-sensitive high-resolution jog wheels support both Turntable and Jog operating modes. They can be used for manual beatmatching, track positioning, cueing, scratching, and rewind-style performance techniques.
Integrated Audio Interface
The built-in 24-bit audio interface supports sample rates up to 96 kHz. Connections include RCA and 1/8-inch master outputs, separate 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch headphone outputs for monitoring, a balanced 1/4-inch microphone input, and USB-C connectivity.
Traktor Pro 4 Included
The MX2 includes Traktor Pro 4, Native Instruments' professional four-deck DJ software. The software provides beatmatching, looping, Stem separation, multi-effect chains, Pattern Player integration, and iZotope Ozone Maximizer processing. The controller also supports an additional MIDI layer for use with compatible third-party software.
