Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

Pearl Competitor Series 22x14-Inch Marching Bass Drum - Pure White with Black Maple Hoops
Pearl's Competitor Series Marching Bass Drums (CMB) offer tremendous value and performance. 6-ply Poplar/Kapur shells featuring 6 strategically placed air vents make these drums highly efficient low-frequency projectors. 6-ply Maple hoops provide a rigid mount for the triple-reinforced claws that anchor securely to our zing lug castings.
- CMB bass drums feature reduced weight while still providing a full, projecting sound.
- CMB Bass Drums are 14-Inch depth for all diameters.
- Compatible with both CX Air Frame and MX T-Frame Carriers
- Die-Cast Zinc Tension Lugs: Competitor Series Bass Drums feature die-cast zinc tension rods, able to withstand modern pitch requirements without breaking.
- Oversized triple reinforced claws to disperse tension around the hoop and to exceed the tension requirements of modern tuning schemes
- Acoustically placed air vents allow for quick air exit for unsurpassed playing response and added projection
6-ply Poplar/Kapur Shells
Competitor Bass Drum shells feature 6-ply Poplar/Kapur shells crafted by Pearl’s Superior Shell Technology. The wood combination produces an excellent response in mid to low registers, as well as the full frequency tone you need for a full-sounding bass drum. Competitor Series drums bring together traditional materials and legendary Pearl craftsmanship to create high-quality bass drums at a tremendous value. Pearl’s 45-degree bearing edge maximizes the volume of these thunderous air chambers.
SST Formed Shells
Competitor Series Bass Drums are manufactured with Pearl's Superior Shell Technology which utilizes a proprietary technique for achieving the ultimate air chamber. It begins with select woods chosen for their unique acoustic attributes, milled to precise thickness with overlapping scarf joint seams for a perfect air-tight fit. The wood plies are saturated with Pearl's proprietary "AcoustiGlue" which permeates every pore and dries to the exact consistency of the wood for optimal resonance. Finally, the plies are formed in high-temperature molds with 1000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to produce perfect drum shells that exhibit superior tone, optimal resonance, and extreme strength.
