Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

The subtle fatigue that sets in before even playing a single note. These are minor discomforts that almost every drummer experiences, but often go unspoken and unrecognized. Yet over time, they quietly take away a drummer's focus and ability to express themselves, ultimately hindering the quality of their performance. Tama created the Spartan series with the goal of eliminating these silent obstacles, so drummers can fully unlock their creative potential.

In developing Spartan stands, Tama’s pursuit extended far beyond simply reducing the weight. Equipped with innovative features such as the Anti-Walk Rubber Feet to prevent movement during a performance, and the Duo-Lock Boom Tilter that allows for simultaneous adjustment of the boom angle and length, Spartan stands are designed to offer not only lightness, but also a fast, intuitive setup with rock-solid stability.
To enhance playability, Tama combined specific mechanical innovations into a design that achieves an ideal weight—light enough to reduce physical strain, yet strong enough to meet professional demands. Lightweight Aluminum Pipe
In pursuit of the ultimate lightweight design, this new series from Tama was developed entirely from the ground up, with all parts and mechanisms reimagined from scratch. Using lightweight aluminum extensively throughout, each component has been carefully designed to minimize size. At the same time, achieving a high level of stability alongside a reduced weight is the core concept behind the Spartan stand. To ensure this, critical adjustment points that tend to experience wear and tear—such as the boom tilter, bolts, and T-nut threads—are made from high-strength, durable materials like zinc die-cast and steel.
Flatter Pipe
The stand legs combine aluminum construction with a hollow pipe-shaped design, delivering not only exceptional lightness but reliable strength.
Anti-Walk Rubber Feet
To prevent cymbal stand “walking” while playing, Tama has developed an all-new rubber tip. Even when the stand lifts slightly off the floor while playing, a piece at the center of the rubber foot remains in contact with the floor, effectively minimizing unwanted movement during performance. This innovative feature delivers a level of stability that is almost unbelievable given the stand’s lightweight design—yet another practical and original solution from Tama.
Duo-Lock Boom Tilter
A newly developed Tama original tilter designed specifically for the Spartan stand. Using only one T-nut, the boom arm and tilter can be adjusted independently, depending how much the T-nut is loosened. Loosen it slightly to adjust only the boom arm length while keeping the tilter angle fixed, or loosen it further to adjust both the boom arm length and angle at the same time. Thanks to its simple and user-friendly design, setup is quick and effortless.
Glide-Tite Grip Joint
The Glide-Tite Grip Joint allows for a more secure attachment by using a metal-to-metal contact point. This provides an extremely solid anchor and complete isolation for a tom or cymbal. Because the stand does not move with the instrument, the natural resonance of that instrument is maximized.
