Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

Over the past year, Taylor has worked in tandem with talented artists across genres to create guitars that reflect their unique musical styles — including GRAMMY winners Jacob Collier and Zedd.
Taylor is thrilled to continue that creative journey with Nashville-based guitarist/songwriter Trey Hensley, a longtime Taylor player who commands respect from audiences andindustry peers alike. Known for his fiery flatpicking and thoughtful songwriting, Trey was named Guitar Player of the Year at the 2025 IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards (his second win after 2023). He also won a GRAMMY for Best Traditional Blues Album in 2025 as part of the Taj Mahal Sextet. His 2015 album with Rob Ickes, Before the Sun Goes Down, earned a GRAMMY nomination, and he has collaborated with legends including Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Dolly Parton and Earl Scruggs.
Body, Neck, Strings
The new Trey Hensley Gold Label 510e Special Edition celebrates Trey’s artistry with a unique set of features, starting with a deeper version of Taylor’s classic square-shoulder Dreadnought body shape. This model is crafted with back and sides of solid mahogany paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top. Fanned V-Class bracing delivers a warm, woody midrange with outstanding power and sustain, especially in the low end. The long-tenon Action Control Neck offers enhanced resonance and allows fast, easy adjustability to dial in the ideal string height for any scenario or playing style. Trey helped fine-tune the guitar’s response, opting for medium-gauge D’Addario Nickel Bronze strings.
LR Baggs Anthem SL Electronics
The guitar is outfitted with Trey’s preferred pickup system for performance — the Baggs Anthem SL — combining an Element under-saddle piezo pickup with a TRU·MIC condenser microphone and an end-pin preamp. The system includes a soundhole-mounted volume control.
Aesthetic Details
Blending Gold Label’s distinctive heritage-flavored aesthetic with understated elegance, this model features an Antique Blond torrefied spruce top that glows with warm, golden-brown hues. Other details include a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with bone pins, cream binding with black/white purfling, a matching rosette, and Crest inlays in cream. A double-layer pickguard (ivoroid and faux tortoise) and a Trey Hensley Gold Label interior label complete the look. The first 100 guitars include a Trey-signed certificate of authenticity. Each ships in a deluxe hardshell case with a British Cocoa exterior.
