Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

Yamaha Marching Hardware is the culmination of more than 55 years crafting industry-standard drum set hardware paired with more than 40 years empowering top-tier ensembles with exceptional marching instruments. The iconic blue accent on each carrier and stand is a subtle nod to Yamaha Motorsports and a shared passion for performance.
Developed and field tested under the harshest conditions, the philosophy of Yamaha Marching Hardware is Simplicity plus Durability equals Reliability. That is why more band directors rely on Yamaha Percussion, from the lot to the stadium.
Player Side Adjustments
Each of the carrier's adjustment mechanisms may be adjusted with a standard drum key while wearing the carrier. This allows for quick and easy customization to suit a wide variety of body types and playing styles. The supplied Allen wrench should be used when adjusting the position of the J-rod holder and securing the receiver to the J-rod. The distance from the top of the shoulder to the attachment (for the MBC-9600 shown below) is a minimum of 422 mm / 16 5/8 inch to a maximum of 722 mm / 28 3/8 inch.
High Performance Urethane Cushion Pad
The shoulder and back pads fit comfortably on the player's body and hold the carrier firmly in place so the player can concentrate on playing without the shoulder arms moving unexpectedly even during aggressive performances. Easily removable and repeatedly washable, the pads use breathable, moisture-wicking three-dimensional fiber. They do not absorb sweat or odors, dry quickly, and are indispensable items for long hours of practice under the hot sun. The pleasant-to-the-touch pad cover is another feature.
Memory Clamps
The memory clamps have a blue accent. After determining the angle and height of the J-rod, the memory clamps are used to allow the J-rod to be returned to its original position easily when it is reused, even when stowed away. Height adjustment is also easy while the J-rod angle remains fixed.
Lightweight
The body of the carrier is made of a rigid and durable aluminum material that's built to withstand the harshest indoor and outdoor environments with minimal maintenance. 14mm diameter J-rods are both lightweight and have the strength required to securely hold the instrument.
Tilt Adjustment
The instrument's levelness can be adjusted to suit various grips by fixing the attachment to the instrument's tube lugs.
Hitting Angle Adjustment Function
The player can adjust the angle of the instrument's striking surface quickly and safely by simply turning the angle adjustment bolt.
Quick Lock Mounting System
The attachment of the instrument is just inserted into the carrier's receiver and secured with a lock system, a simple operation that enables safe and quick attachment.
Uniform Guards
The bolts for adjusting the shoulder arms, belly plate, J-rod, etc., are covered with resin to reduce injury and damage to uniforms when playing.
Design
This product, designed with a lean design philosophy that eliminates superfluous elements, facilitates daily maintenance and repairs during long-term use in a band. In addition, Yamaha adopted part sizes that are consistent with system hardware such as Yamaha Drums' Hexrack II, enabling flexible and simple parts acquisition and repairs.
