Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.

From professional orchestras to college wind ensembles, these front-action piston tubas have been designed to give players the ability to create an energetic and reliable foundation for their ensemble. Based on input from world-class tubists, the 623S has a new layout that delivers evolutionary advances in function and playability, allowing the player to focus on what matters most: the music itself.

Body Construction
The YCB-623S features a reimagined body design, with smooth curvature and straight, simple bends to optimize airflow and produce a gloriously rich tone. Thinner brass from the bell to the top bow improves response, while a smooth bottom bow guard plate enhances resonance and reduces discomfort during long playing sessions. The deep, warm timbre makes low-register passages easier and more efficient.
Leadpipe and Receiver
A floating leadpipe design leaves the bell free to vibrate naturally, improving clarity and projection. The angle and layout ensure comfortable holding and natural breathing. The multi shank receiver accepts both American and European mouthpieces without an adapter, allowing players to use their preferred setup with ease.
Valve and Tuning Features
Equipped with four front pistons and a rotary valve, the YCB-623S offers responsive playability. The secondary main tuning slide extends tuning range and allows fine adjustments while playing. Vented pistons enable smooth slide movement, while an adjustable thumb ring provides ergonomic comfort. Large contoured valve buttons and low-resilience pads contribute to a smooth playing feel.
Included Accessories
Each tuba comes with a BB-69D2 mouthpiece, designed for a rich symphonic tone with easy control, and a protective case for safe transport.
