New: The item is brand new as received from the manufacturer with a full manufacturer warranty. Instruments such as guitars, snare drums, drum kits, brass and woodwind instruments may be opened for photography and quality control inspection and may not be in a factory sealed box.
Mint or Open Box: The item may have been opened and tested but has been repackaged. The original packaging may have superficial issues but the item itself and any originally included accessories are in perfect, like new condition.
Display Model: These items are so cool that we put them on display in our legendary shop. The condition is brand new as received from the manufacturer with manufacturer warranty. Rest assured, these items undergo a very careful inspection before shipping.
Demo: These items have been on our sales floor for demo purposes and will likely show signs of use. The original packaging may no longer be included, but you can be assured that you are receiving an awesome item and an awesome price.

Designed with Andy Martin and Wycliffe Gordon, this Custom Z Trombone provides supreme tonal flexibility for the serious jazz trombonist.
- Interchangeable Leadpipes: The YSL-891ZD comes with 2 interchangeable leadpipes.
- NY Type (NY leadpipe): With a broad taper and a little extra length, this leadpipe passes plenty of breath for fortissimo passages and powerful performances. It features a soft, deep tone that easily fills large concert halls or outdoor spaces.
- LA Type (LA leadpipe): This leadpipe has a gentler taper and is a little shorter than the NY type, providing quick response and easy tonal control. With a focused, bright tone, the LA leadpipe can help to deliver well-defined tone in studio and live-house performance situations.
- Inner slide: The chrome-plated nickel-silver drawn inner slide is very durable and has a quick, sensitive response. In addition, it is a one-piece drawn slide.
- Outer slide: The one-piece, drawn, brass outer slide maintains an accurate diameter throughout its length, and this type of construction ensures airtightness, smooth action, and exceptional durability. The outer slide is fit with extremely close tolerances making the horn respond quickly and effortlessly.
- Balancer: The one-piece, drawn, brass outer slide maintains an accurate diameter throughout its length, and this type of construction ensures airtightness, smooth action, and exceptional durability. The outer slide is fit with extremely close tolerances making the horn respond quickly and effortlessly.
- Detachable Bell: The detachable bell on the YSL-891ZD is similar to the YSL-891Z one-piece bell, but separates at the base of the flare. Not only does a detachable bell allow more compact storage, but the added weight of the bell screw section helps to produce a tighter sound with improved directionality.
