THE SOUND OF HISTORY
Ken Smith has shaped the modern bass guitar, introducing innovations that became industry standards — including PCB electronics, graphite-inlaid necks, detented EQ controls, Low-B string design (.128/.130), and taper core bass strings.
Every bass begins with hand-selected tonewoods from his in-house lumberyard of 20+ aged species — one of the world’s largest collections of acclimated, musical-grade woods.
Rooted in 16th–19th century European luthiery and driven by modern innovation, each Smith bass is personally overseen and final-set up by Ken Smith himself.
